I like to read historical narratives or novels about exploration and adventure. Perhaps it harkens back to my younger days, when I had envisioned an exciting life full of feats and accomplishments. As time wore on the realities of life took hold. My life has been a good one thus far (so I have no complaints), but the thirst for adventure was never fully quenched. Thus I lose myself in the exploits of others.

Then again, maybe such a regular life is an adventure. Perhaps we don’t need to win a Pulitzer Prize or take a walk on the moon in order to have an extraordinary life. So I invite you to explore this collection of memoirs (and other reflections), all part of the evolution of myself as a person and traversing my quite (un)remarkable life. Perhaps you can use them as a starting point to see what is truly remarkable about your life.
